      The book Trains by Anne Rockwell is a very short and easy read for younger children. This is an informational text for children and talks about types of trains and how they work. This book is an easy read with short text and large pictures that take up the entire page.       We got a train book bundle from the library last week, so it has been all train books all the time at my house lately. My son likes this book a lot because there are tons of trains to point out, and they are clearly and obviously trains (as opposed to other books in the bundle that have more abstracted train images).The one weird thing is that this reads like a little kid non-fiction book with basic train facts, and yet the illustrations feature foxes instead of people.       A great book for preschoolers and younger. The illustrations are adorable and the simple language was easily repeatable my my 3 yr olds. No educational value except for reading and instilling the love of books in your child! Highly recommended for the smaller children.
