      This is part diary, part memoir of a Polish Jewish woman who survived the ghettos and concentration camps of the Holocaust. I personally prefer the diary parts of it. It feels a little unfinished to me, as throughout it, she hints to a huge drama in her family and it's clear that she has bitter feelings toward her sister-in-law, that she pretty openly talks about, but then never says what happened.
