I'm not noted for my patience and so the wait between these books drives me crazy with that in mind I decided after reading book 6 I'd wait until the series was complete before I continued on but I just couldn't wait any longer and so I've dived in again.I have to say I'd forgotten just how brilliant and addictive this series is, my only worry was after a gap of nearly a year would I have lost the plot. The answer is no, I was straight back in.The book opens in August 2010 where Graeme Kingsley, [...]

Things are getting mighty interesting in the world of Onyx Webb. In this installment, many major plot lines are brought into sharper focus, more events and relationships are drawn closer together and really giving way to the big picture. To coincide with this, the time period is also being pulled tighter. Throughout this entire series, important events and time periods have always been decades apart, spanning the early 1900's to the early 2000's. Now, the past is nearly catching up to present da [...]

I believe this is my favorite book in the series so far. Here everything seems to be pulling together and accelerating towards something. Plot lines are pulling closer together and relationships are starting to hit points of breaking or beginning to approach moments like that. it is all very tightly paced and difficult to put down and scene after scene grabs hold and gets your attention. In there earlier books there always seemed to be one story line or another that didn't capture as much of my [...]

It’s Halloween evening. The last of the trick or treaters have come through and there’s still candy left. Getting comfortable, I close my eyes and pretend to crack open book seven in the Onyx Webb series, briefly wishing my Kindle would offer book opening sound effects and smell-o-vision (mmm, the smell of a used bookstore). Settling in, I rapidly tap through the pages, my eager brain eating up what Richard and Andrea have brought me.It’s difficult to review this series without offering sp [...]

Onyx Webb book 7 episodes 19,20, and 21 are brilliant! Once again, my favorite two writers have sun another fascinating read. The characters I loved since the beginning are all here. What I love most about this series is that with new book there are a variety of genres combined into one stunning masterpiece. Readers can like one particular genre and be blown away with this book. Every possibility of disaster can occur as well as the paranormal side of things. Every page keeps readers like myself [...]

I received a free copy by the authors considering I reviewed Book One through Six. Book Seven is a combination of genres from historical fiction to paranormal. Readers are introduced to new characters including gypsies. Mika Flagler continues to be the one character that I hate and I am waiting for karma to intervene. Olympia Fudge continues to be one of my favorites and I love that she is fan of Alexander Skarsgard's character Eric Northman on the television show 'True Blood'. Book Seven contin [...]

I was so excited when i saw the book in my email. I have been waiting !! This book did not disappoint. I could have read it in a day but i wanted to savor every word. I almost cried when i came to the end. I have never been so excited about a series!! The story just gets better and better. Never boring and you cant guess what will happen next. So many twists and turns. It always amazes me how they can incorporate moments in history. I find myself googling an event they mention. The characters ar [...]

This far into a series a review is always difficult, this one especially so due to the soap opera serial style. It's not amazing because it's about 3/4 through, so a lot of the content is just rolling along, not revealing anything new or noteworthy, but it's still fun and compulsively readable. The only issue I have really is that the time jumps have started coming closer and closer together (from 2007 to 2010) so it's confusing from time to time when characters who have died are suddenly alive a [...]

Book Seven. The web grows tighter and more intricate. We learn more about the world of ghosts. We meet more of the dead. Superbly written and highly addictive, with hits of horror and humor. I have resolved that my sleep patterns are not going to be normal until I finish this series. Those now embarking on book 1 are fortunate in their ability to binge read most of the series. Start with book one and just binge it. You won't be sorry.

What else can I say about this series? I love it and I don't want it to end.

Book 7 starts off bringing Quinn Cole to the forefront. Until now, his character had been mostly forgotten. This in turn leads to a couple more forgotten characters from the past, one in particular thought to surely be gone forever. But as you quickly discover in this series, anyone can show back up at any time. Amusingly, there was a pie fiasco, a murderer’s blunder, and even surfing for funny cat videos. I am so addicted to this series. It ensnares you in its darkness, but in a light-hearted [...]

alittlebitofrnr/review-onyI received this book to give an honest review. How can a series just keep getting better and better, I have no clue! This is an amazing series that just keeps pulling you into the web that has become joined by the characters. It is amazing how we have gone from the past to the present and the characters are entwine in some way or another. We have characters who have never believed in ghosts before become believers and will try to find the answers the ghost want. We will [...]

FENTON and WALTZ carry on with the 7th (out of a projected 10 but one can always hope) ONYX WEBB Book containing Episodes 19-21. This one, like all the preceding entries is about 250 pages, or just enough to swallow in one gulp. Everyone is here, and in fine fettle. Way back when, in ONYX WEBOOK ONE, almost all the characters were alive, except for the narrator, Onyx herself. Now, by Book 7, although I have not done a thorough quantitative analysis, it seems to me that at least 50% of the charac [...]

      >Book Review - Onyx Webb - >I am an independent reviewer. This is book 7 in the Onyx Webb series and contains episodes 19, 20, and 21.>The theme of this book should be "tease". The reader is teased as to whether Onyx will have another love interest. The lawyer and his grandson play a major role in this book, along with the lawyer's wife, Kizzy. She is the epitome of unpleasantness. Mika's fate is also teased. I screamed at the reveal of that whole situation. If anyone deserves a nasty e [...]

I swear, every time I finish another book in this series, I think it can’t get any better. These newest episodes prove me wrong, again. There’s no way I can relate what happens in this book without spoiling it for you. You just have to take me at my word when I say it’ll have you biting your nails, begging for the next revealing chapter. It’s so damned good.As we get closer to the conclusion, more secrets are revealed, the past and present draw closer together, and more questions are answ [...]

Book seven of the Onyx Webb series brings the story to a whole new level. It is even more gripping (I didn't think it was possible) than the previous books as the pace quickens. We have new ghosts (disguised as living people) and ghosts trying to get revenge on other ghosts. But of course many of the living characters are worse than the ghosts.Declan is in trouble. Mika gets in trouble. Stan Lee gets sloppy. What about Newt's love interest Maggie? Finally got in touch with Juniper. Went to the O [...]

Best. Halloween gift. Ever.Just when you think you've seen the end of one character, they come screaming back into the series. Living, dead, and everything in-between. I'm excited to get back into the Juniper Cole story as it's only been touched on a little bit since the first book. Even more of a wonder, Mika, who has consistently been my least favorite character, has become more and more endearing the longer she rides the "hot mess express." It's honestly so refreshing to read a book that's th [...]

another great read in the series. Im liking how all the ghosts are getting out more and more in the book. I was rooting for Newt and his girlfriend of five years until a shocking revelation came to him. I felt bad for the guy really. and my heroine is still Onyx. I just love that character alot.I have from the start and although I dont like Mika much, somethings she was up to this time were quite funny, especially the pie episode. this series of books have been my favorite and I cant wait for the [...]

As I waited & waited for book 7,in this series to arrive I thought about my friends;these characters created brilliantly by authors Richard Fenton & Andrea Waltz,I predicted where the authors were going,I think I was wrong on every single one,not sure yet,as I painstakingly wait for book 8,perhaps I will know then, but I doubt it.With cliffhangers in this book beyond the famous "Who shot JR" of Dallas fame in the 80's,If you have not yet discovered Onyx Webb, stop what you are doing & [...]
