The book talks about the problems of a small town with a dream, one of best original stories I ever read but the problem is that this book contains some useless information that will make you completely forget what you're reading.

Personal ResponseFriday Night Lights is such an amazing book. It captures High School pretty clearly, and it also tells an amazing story along with it. I really enjoyed this book as it brought me back some memories of fall and playing under the lights. This book did't really have any dull moments for me, but it was fairly long. Friday Night Lights is now one of my favorite books just because of how much it brought back the good times.PlotThe book starts off with telling the history of Odessa, Te [...]

Well it was an interesting story on how one player caused a whole team to lose and get out of control.

Excellent book for both sports fans and regular folks also. It places you in the eyes of the town of Odessa, Texas where in a time of poor economy due to poor oil sales. In this time of despair there is one bright spot, their team. Would recommend to anyone who wants a feel good story but also want to see how a town pulls together in hard times.

A book review of Friday Night Lights: A Town, A Team, and a Dream. by Buzz Bissinger Review by: Nolan Bushee As somebody who doesn’t particularly like to read, I have found great interest in Friday Night Lights by Buzz Bissinger. I would never imagine or find myself bringing a book and reading in my free time. There are multiple nights where I haven't been busy so I would take this book home and just read for a while. Before this book I have never done anything like that. This book is a non-fi [...]

This is a review on the book Friday Night Lights. This was a very good book that was very well written. It uses a tone of writing techniques throughout the whole thing. The author of this book (H.G. Bissinger) did a pretty good job of writing this book, but he puts in his own kinda political views in the store you which sorta is misleading and throws you off a bit. Other than those parts the book has a pretty decent amount of foreshadowing. “Boobie played sparingly the following week in a 48-2 [...]
