Well that was something I've been trying to wrap my head around it for a few days now to give a fair review, it just had so much going on that, wow, yeah I'm a bit overwhelmed. This is really three separate novels so it worked to take almost two weeks to finish it. Despite the amount of paranormal and otherworldly stuff I've read in my life, I can honestly say I've never read anything quite like this. The author's style is interesting, especially when paired with this particular genre. This is a w [...]

MehThis was a book with several pairs of protagonist. What they held in common was their residency at an old apartment building in New York. There was a lot of insta-love with zero feels. Most of the characters save Dev, the wizard, and Robert, the ghost, were very two dimensional, can I even say one dimensional? Is that a thing? If it is, I read it here. The writing wasn't horrible but there was next to no plot, no substance to the characters. Wait, so maybe that does make for bad writing.Things [...]

*** I have read all three of these separately, so I compiled my reviews for you ! *** #1 - As always Aiden Bates delivers a charming, interesting story ! This is about the tenants of the Lingering Arms Apartments. Appearing to be normal, but each holding secrets. Amazing characters that come to life for our pleasure, intriguing tales afloat that keep us guessing, and sweet sexiness, too. I don't want to give anything away, it's a fun read, and leaves us wanting more, more, more.Lovely. Highly re [...]

The series title is completely misleading. This is not a shifter story. They never shift and it's not at all relevant that they're shifters. Only one MC and his boyfriend are shifters and they're only in a small portion of the book. I'm reading this because supposedly only the first story is mpreg and there are mysteries in each story. Oh okay, no, only the last paragraph in the first one was mpreg and the guy is still pregnant in #2. The mystery wasn't even a mystery as he was basically told ri [...]

I've really enjoyed the individual stories as they came out and am thrilled to see them all together in one collection! The concept is really fun, tenants of an apartment building each with their own supernatural secret. I found the breadth of supernaturals to be a plus as well as the unique backstories for each guy. The stories are quite steamy too, especially Dev's parts! While the stories were written with the possibility to be standalones, I think they are so much better when read together. [...]

This was an amazing series that covered almost every paranormal checkbox. Mpreg, witches and warlocks, a little sex magick, and ghosts. I loved all the characters and each story had its positives and negatives, but OMG did I love Robert!!! His story was by far the most emotional and the most surprising. Once it really got into his part, I was entranced! I was shocked when the book ended because there was so much more to tell! This was my first book by Aiden Bates, but it won't be my last.

A story with a few MC's and little plot. Really just an insight into the lives of the tenants of an apartment house. We have the werewolf who meets his mate, a human couple, the recluse owner and a wizard porn-star who also meets his partner. It all kind of ended up in the air with things not fully resolved. An okay read but not itching to read more.3.5 stars(3 GR)

Omega in HeatFrom the beginning to the end, I've enjoyed meeting and getting to know the character's of Lingering Arms. If you like to read about the paranormal. This is definitely a book you will truly enjoy. Very well written, and hotness in all the right places. Aiden Bates is a author that keeps you wanting more! I received a advance review copy of this book for a honest review

This is actually 3 overlapping stories, of the inhabitants of an old apartment building. I loved how their stories are interwoven, one leading into another’s, yet we never leave the other couples behind. And overall, all of their stories are actually telling the story of the building Lingering Arms.First off is a sweet love story of a werewolf PI finding his soul mate in the thief he’s hunting, which leads into the second story of a magical fortune teller cam-boy. And lastly we are taken to [...]

There were some interesting parts.I liked some of the characters.I was disappointed in the shifter stories start, and it kinda soured the of their story for me. I just never got the feelz. To much insta-love not enough plot. But, I liked somethings. The ghost concept was good. I liked how he couldn't leave the house and found a way to make it work for him.I think I felt most connected to the wizard.

Well, uhm yeah. that was an interesting read that's for sure. I'm not quit sure I really liked or understand most of what I read. There is so much going on with the three different intertwining stories that it loses something for me.This was a book with several pairs of protagonist. What they held in common was their residency at an old apartment building in New York. There was a lot of insta love/lust going on but with no real feelings involved IMOP. Not really my cup of tea.

This book was very different from others I have read. It took me awhile to even get into the characters. It was like reading different books that are mashed together. I will say there were some steamy scenes that are just wow I liked Arlo and Silas the best of the couples. My biggest issue was with the ending. I sat for minutes wondering if that was it.

This book was a bit slow for me and not as hot as I usually like my books. It was a good story. Because this included all the books in the series, I thought some parts were repetitive.

    14. Aya on said:

Two stars or three stars? It’s difficult to decide. The basic premise was interesting with the non-linear narrative and a diverse cast of characters. Unfortunately, the story’s progress did not reveal the depth of character I had hoped for. Sure, we get to know quite a bit about Dev and Robert but the others are basically inconsequential. Even Silas’ story was short lived and we don’t learn that much more about him by the end. The first part of the story was slowly and difficult to get t [...]

Happy TearsAt the conclusion of these books I had tears of happiness in my eyes. I found these characters and their stories to be very sweet and loving and unlike most books that I have read, I was not tempted to drag out the Xanax to help me deal with the stress of the conflict that is used to make things interesting. There is tension, but it fits in with this storyline. Big hugs to Aiden Bates for a job well done.

Not at all what I expected. Too many different stories going. It 3 intertwining stories in a single book but the conclusion still left me missing an ending. Omega in Heat shouldn't have been the title because the majority of the story revolved around the other residents of the apartment building; a wizard and a ghost.

    17. Stacey on said:

Very different. But good. This was unlike anything I've read before. Sweet and an easy read, it had very well thought out plotlines that meshed well together. I really loved Robert's story.

    18. B. U. on said:

Overall good read. I preferred reading these short stories in this collection as they seem more like chapters to a longer novel. I enjoyed the characters and story lines, but what an ending the book just ends.

    19. Darlene on said:

This was an outstanding book dealing with the lives of five tenants in a rental building. Each one has their own story that is told and then intertwined with the other residents. As the book continues from each part it just gets better and better. I loved it.

AmusingI liked it, it was off to a bit of a confusing start at least for me but then when the rest of the story really starts settling in it gets pretty interesting
