Ah… the list maker lives in all of us, shopping lists, Christmas lists, goal lists, and the infamous bucket list and poor Rebecca Matthews has succumbed to it. Unfortunately her lists don’t work. Her marriage has caved in along with the roof on the cottage she purchased to mend her relationship with her ex and nonexistent father of her son. Her career has followed the same path due to the bankruptcy she’s endured borrowing money to buy her dream home and keep her father in a nursing facili [...]

This book was great. A well-crafted story with likeable characters, a great plot and an engaging writing style. I particularly liked the scenes set in Northumberland, which is where I grew up. I liked the setting in the legal profession (something I know nothing about, but which the author clearly does), and the scenes in Dubai, which were very funny. Paley is a very skilled writer and is particularly adept at tying together all the threads of a narrative so you finish the book feeling satisfied [...]

I have seen Lindsey Paley around on social media and when I saw her state that The Wish List Addiction was free a few months ago, I couldn't resist, knowing that it would give me a great taste for her writing, pretty much risk free. And I am so glad I did download this, as I loved the story. It is very well written, and held me interest throughout the book, and just shows that dreams can come true. Loved the idea of this "Little Green Book of Wishes" where you dip in and out to try things outsid [...]

Rebecca Matthews set up unrealistic goals in her life. This story opens as all Rebecca's dreams and hopes come crashing down around her. But life goes on. With the help of her new coworkers, Rebecca begins to enjoy the good things she already has with her sweet young son, Max. She's an engaging heroine and I could not help but be drawn in by her plight immediately. A well-written, sweet book I truly enjoyed.

The Wish List Addiction is a heartfelt sweet romance novel, and Lindsey’s wonderful attention to detail, descriptive language and thoroughly researched storyline is a breath of fresh air. Her main character, Becky, goes through trials and tribulations that many of us can identify with, and the positive underlying message is inspiring and uplifting. I can’t wait to read more of Lindsey’s work.

The Wish list Addiction by Lindsey Paley free on Kindle UnlimitedA thoroughly satisfying read which deserves 4A bit unbelievabe but a toe in the puddle of romantic deluge never hurts and is good for the psyche. Its a good author that gets your gander up inciting love or hate in a reader for her characters!Did not empathise with Rebecca at all, found her character a bit of a tube. She marries an arxe, who cheats, leaves her up the duff, then after secretly buying a house chasing 'the happy ever a [...]

This was really bad but I had to finish it! The language is appalling in the sense that the author has characters speaking in language that just isn't used in everyday conversation. It's cliched and predictable.

After the first few chapters of being frustrated with the 'heroine' you know precisely where this story is going. Too predictable for me.
