A Book to Die ForA popular novelist is murdered in his home. Four ex-wives, ex- and present girlfriends, a niece and her friend, and a colleague, are all suspects. A good story with interesting characters and a good plot.

This was a fun 'Cozy' mystery.Dawn McLelland does a nice job narrating.Riley Reed is a home decor blogger and has a book club. An old flame,an author of some standing, asks her to help redo his den into his Man Cave. She's happy to help out, only when she gets therehe is dead.So it goes, friends and foes are questioned and the unlikeliest of culprits is caught. This audiobook was provided to me at no cost for a fair and honest review

The Wives etc.Enjoyed choice of murder location, getting harder to find somewhere different. Liked Riley, was rather surprised she didn't have an antagonistic relationship with policebut very glad. It's a welcome change, and not to have her treated like a brainless person.

There was just something about this book. I found that I really didn't care for some of the characters. The plot and story were very well written. Maybe the next one will be better.Posted on another site.
