The whole family enjoyed reading this book aloud! Something about the two voices and everyone taking turns reading the parts! I love Laura Numeroff illustrations too! If you give a mom a booke'll want a cup of tea to go with it you know. But, alas, she'll have to stew because it is Granny's bowling night!

This is my all time favorite to read aloud to a class or group of kids. I read this to a Kindergarten Class last year and the kids LOVED IT boy and girl. The kids had so many questions and comments when I was done reading. The book really got them thinking!!! And as for me, the sing-songy rhythm was fun and left me smiling!

I love how the waiter tries so hard to please his customer in this book. Made me hungry for stew myself!

So cute!! When I was younger me and my dad would read it together. I memorized the girl part and my dad memorized the waiter part.
